Welcome back to another edition of Mirrorless Monday! This week, we are featuring photography enthusiast Paolo Callieri of Turin, Italy. He has shared two shots with us, both taken with his faithful Olympus E-PL1, the third model in the Micro Four Third PEN series.
About his experience with the E-PL1, Paolo states:
I’ve been using the E-PL1 since 2011 and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I love this camera for its ease of use, the possibility to change lenses, and the built-in flash. You can take pictures in automatic mode, aperture priority, shutter priority or manual. There are internal filters such as sepia, pop, soft focus and so on, allowing you to give an artistic flavour to your photos.
The two photos you see here are of his beloved cat Ginger, which was taken at 1600 ISO and 1/15 exposure time, and a gorgeous landscape shot taken in Northern Italy at 200 ISO and 1/400 exposure time. He used the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 in both cases.
Thanks for sharing, Paolo!
Remember, you too can be featured on Mirrorless Mondays! If you have a special photo you want to share, all you have to do is send us an email at mirrorlessons@gmail.com with a) information about the mirrorless camera you used, and b) a short blurb about the photo!
