How many photographers can call themselves lucky enough to have nabbed a flawless shot of an insect in mid-flight? Colin Franks certainly can, as you can see from the beautiful up-close photograph he sent us for Mirrorless Monday. It features a bee hovering around a tantalizing Spanish Lavender on a sunny day. The flower is very sharp and detailed, but it is the fact that the buzzing bee is so clear and crisp that makes this photograph exceptional.

As with every photo Colin has shared so far, it was taken with his beloved Panasonic G3 and the 100-300 lens!
Remember, you too can be featured on Mirrorless Mondays! If you have a special photo you want to share, all you have to do is send us an email at mirrorlessons@gmail.com with a) information about the mirrorless camera you used, and b) a short blurb about the photo!
