If you are a lover of macro photography, you’ll know that practically anything can become an intriguing subject for a photograph. From veins on a leaf to screws scattered on a wooden plank, there is always something to be explored when you have a macro on your mind. This week on Mirrorless Monday, Colin Franks has explored a macro theme ‘keys’ with his Panasonic G3 and the 20mm f/1.7 lens.
About the lens, he states:
I like how the 20mm 1.7 lens offers the shallow depth of field which makes many shots more interesting.
As lovers of macro photography ourselves, we really enjoy what Colin has done with these two photos. In both cases, the lines naturally carry your eyes from one angle of the photo to that opposing it. Very nice work!
You can see more of Colin’s work on his Facebook page, where you can also become a fan. He has lots of fabulous photos posted, so do leave him a comment!
