As most of you know very well by now, we here at MirrorLessons in association with Tyson Robichaud Photography Blog have been holding monthly Flickr challenges with a theme chosen each month by the winner of the previous month’s challenge. The purpose of these challenges is to push ourselves to improve our photography, shoot unfamiliar subjects, and most importantly, to have fun.
So far, we’ve been very impressed with all the submissions, and have been pleased to see the challenges generate so much interest in the photography community. Our deepest thanks to everyone who has participated so far!
Every six months, we and Tyson are holding giveaway as a way of showing our gratitude for your participation in these monthly Flickr challenges.
In this post, we have attached the winning photographs from the past six months. Your job is to vote for what you feel is the best overall image. The polls will be open for a week (until March 22nd) on both our website and Tyson’s, so you have lots of time to cast your vote and share this post. The winner will receive a number of great prizes:
- Topaz plugin of their choice
- Software from Alien Skin
- Lensbaby LM10 Smartphone Optic
- New Cascade Wrist Strap from Tyson
Thank you so much to Alien Skin Software, Topaz Labs Software and Lensbaby for contributing to this round’s prize giveaway, and to Tyson, as always, for providing his amazing wrist straps!
So, without further ado, here are the six images. Good luck to the winners! Update: the winner of this six month mark giveaway is Giorgio Lumaconi. Congratulations!
